Polaris: Correction

In the article on “Unauthorized modifications found on Polaris Ships” from March 27th there were a few errors.

1) The investigation related to Stellar Daisy’s accident is still in progress  with the ‘Korea Coast Guard’ and ‘Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal’ and the reason for the accident is still unknown.

2) A search for one remaining life raft continues.

3) Stellar Eagle’s last discharging port was China, where the South Korean ministry undertook an inspection. All of the alterations ordered by the ministry were completed by March 25th.

4) No vessels were ordered to be demolished. All of the converted vessels were investigated by Korea Register and Lloyd’s Register and were confirmed for seaworthiness.

Apologies for the mistakes.
