Name changes for NorthStandard businesses

As part of its integration following the completion of the merger between North Of England and Standard P&I clubs on February 20^th this year to create NorthStandard, the merged Club has changed the name of the Club’s Irish insurance company North of England P&I DAC to NorthStandard EU DAC, effective October 6^th 2023.

NorthStandard noted that this was purely a name change of the company and would be of relevance only to those members and policyholders insured by North of England P&I DAC. Apart from the change of name there will be no change to the terms of the underlying insurance business written by North of England P&I DAC.

All the other insurance companies within the NorthStandard group will continue to use their existing names and provide their current services.

As part of the changes North of England P&I DAC bank accounts have changed to NorthStandard EU DAC. There are no further changes to the bank details. The change is effective from 9 October 2023.

In the near future all new documentation issued by the club will feature NorthStandard branding and styling. This is in addition to document templates being updated to reflect the name change of North of England P&I DAC to NorthStandard EU DAC where appropriate.
