Haruna Express cleared of Covid-19 scare, enters Botany Bay

The crew of oil products tanker Haruna Express (IMO 9317078) tested negative for Covid-19 following tests carried out offshore by the authorities of New South Wales, Australia.

The vessel had been held offshore from Botany Bay, Sydney, New South Wales due to fears of Covid-19 on board, authorities (IMN, November 18th 2020).

Covid-19 test results for all crews were negative and Free Pratique was granted on November 13th. The vessel arrived at Port Botany, Australia, around 19:58 UTC on November 16th.

2004-built, Hong Kong-flagged, 27,969 gt Haruna Express is owned by Pacific Link Shipping Ltd care of manager MOL Products Tanker Ltd of Tokyo, Japan. ISM manager is Bernard Schulte Singapore. It is entered with Steamship Mutual (Eastern Syndicate) on behalf of Pacific Link Shipping Ltd.
