Westerdam becomes final Holland America Line ship to resume cruising

Holland America Line has its full fleet of 11 ships back in operation for the first time in more than two years, with the Westerdam becoming the final Holland America Line cruise ship to welcome guests again. It recommenced operations on June 12th.

The Westerdam left Seattle, Washington for a seven–night Alaskan Explorer cruise. The last time guests disembarked the cruise liner was on February 19th 2020, in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.

The Vista-class cruise ship has space for 1,964 guests.

Seattle-based Holland America Line restarted operations in July 2021 and since then its ships have steadily returning to service.
