Heavy rains from Tropical Storm Carlotta hit Mexico’s Pacific coast east of Acapulco ahead of its landfall early on Saturday June 16th.
Storm Carlotta hesitated just off Mexico’s coast late on Friday night, bringing damaging winds to coastal areas. Its centre was about 90 miles south-southeast of Acapulco, moving southeast at just 1 mph. Torrential rains for the coastline hit the southern states of Guerrero and Oaxaca.
Meanwhile there were no reported deaths in the resort cities of Los Cabos as a result of Tropical Storm Bud, which left the Baja California Peninsula and re-emerged over the Gulf of California.
