Ludvig Nyhlén has been appointed area manager and head of The Swedish Club’s Piraeus office in Greece. Nyhlén joins Team Piraeus from the Club’s head office in Gothenburg, having spent the last ten years in various roles within The Swedish Club. He made up part of the team that established the Norway office.
Nyhlén replaces Hans Filipsson, who has stepped down after eight years at the helm to take up an advisory role.
Swedish Club CEO Lars Rhodin said that “Ludvig Nyhlén will prove a great asset to Team Piraeus. He brings with him enthusiasm, a solid understanding of the shipping market as a whole, and a strong commitment to serving the needs of the shipping community in Greece. We would like to thank Hans Filipsson for ably leading the team through the unprecedented challenges of the last 18 months and are delighted that the Club can still benefit from his expertise.”
