The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has announced its plans to allow cruise lines to embark on “cruises to nowhere”. Many international cruise lines have been banned from docking in Singapore since March. The new plans would permit 50% of the number of passengers in pre-pandemic times.
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has begun to explore new health and safety protocols that would allow for “cruises to nowhere,” reported the Straits Times.
STB was reported to have hired Norway-based DNV GL, to create a cruise compliance and certification scheme.
