Shipowners Club details changes to Yacht Policies for 2022-23 policy year

This changes mainly reflect the revised terminology and limitation in cover adopted in the wider insurance market in respect of liabilities arising out of Communicable Diseases.

For legal cover costs (LCC), one change ensures that all of the conditions that apply to the main yacht liability cover also apply to the LCC cover. The second makes it clearer that yacht build contracts are not covered unless agreed by the Managers to avoid any uncertainty on this point.
