Royal Caribbean International is to extend until June 21st 2021 its Singapore season for cruise ship Quantum Of The Seas (IMO 9549463) until June 21, 2021. The cruise line resumed sailing on the vessel in December 2020, offering Singapore residents only the prospect of short cruises to nowhere. The offerings proved highly popular. RCL said that “we are thrilled to announce the extension of the sailing season and look forward to having guests experience first-hand our signature cruise vacation that has wowed local cruisers already, with many booking repeat visits,” said Royal Caribbean’s Managing Director for Asia-Pacific, Angie Stephen.
Stephen said that RCL’s partnership with the Singapore Government had played an instrumental role in the success of these pilot cruises.
The two-night to four-night options have comprehensive health and safety measures in place, including Covid-19 testing, reduced sailing capacity and social distancing onboard.
