Japan Club has implemented an organizational change via the introduction of a head of Underwriting unit.
Effective April 1st 2021 the Club’s Strategic Sales Department, Tokyo Underwriting Department and branch offices’ underwriting teams will be placed under the control of the newly established Head of Underwriting Units. The Club said that “the change is intended to streamline the chain of command to facilitate and improve our underwriting/marketing efficiency”.
In addition, Japan Club has announced some personnel changes.
Hiroaki Sawabe extends his role as Executive Director to include the title Head of Underwriting Units.
Hiroshi Kikegawa becomes Director, Deputy Head of Underwriting Units, General Manager of Strategic Sales Management Department and Tokyo Underwriting Department, having previously been Director, General Manager of Strategic Sales Management Department and Tokyo Underwriting Department.
