The crew of oil products tanker Adriatic Mariner (IMO 9175157) owned by Turkish company Palmali, have claimed not to have been paid $110,00 in due wages.
The vessel dropped anchor on the port roads of Ereğli on August 27th. The crew said that they had no drinking water and were almost without fuel.
The crew required the company to pay their wages and said that if they were not paid they would initiate a departure to a Russian port in order to arrest the vessel through judicial Russian bodies. 1998-built, Malta-flagged, 4,606 gt Adriatic Mariner is owned by Kama Navigation Co Ltd care of Palmali Shipping & Agency of Istanbul, Turkey. It is entered with Steamship Mutual (Smuab) (European Division) on behalf of Kama Navigation Co Ltd.
