Norwegian Jade passengers to get full refund

On November 18th Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) advised passengers who were on board the Norwegian Jade (IMO 9304057) that the vessel could not continue its scheduled voyage.

NCL told the Federal Maritime Commission that passengers on the cruise ship would receive a full refund for the voyage, as well as a 100% credit for a future cruise; NCL would also provide return travel to Miami and up to a $650 credit on air change fees per person to return to their original departure city.

2006-built, Bahamas-flagged, 93,558 gt Norwegian Jade is owned by Price of Hawaii LLC care of manager NCL (Bahamas) of Miami, Florida. It is entered with Steamship Mutual (Smuab) (Americas Syndicate) on behalf of Pride of Hawaii LLC.
