Sunderland Marine Insurance Company has confirmed its sale of Knighthood Corporate Assurance Services plc to Broker Network as part of what North P&I Club described as “a further step in North’s plans to improve Sunderland Marine’s operational efficiency and strengthen its global business following its acquisition (by North) in 2014”.
Sunderland Marine CEO Tom Rutter said that “the sale of Knighthood to Broker Network supports the on-going transformation of Sunderland Marine and increased focus on its core businesses around the world”. He noted that Sunderland Marine had been working with Knighthood for over 20 years and he wished the directors and staff of Knighthood and Broker Network “every success in the future”.
