UK Club’s local correspondent has reported on China’s revised maritime traffic safety law, which will come into effect on September 1st 2021.
The Maritime Traffic Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China (MTSL) is the primary law regulating maritime traffic safety in the sea areas within the jurisdiction of the People’s Republic of China.
The current version of MTSL was adopted on September 2nd 1983 and was amended on November 7th 2016.
On April 29th 2021 the 28th session of the 13th NPC Standing Committee (NPCSC) adopted the revised MTSL.
