Another vessel carrying US soybeans has entered the Chinese port of Dalian, in this case Star Jennifer, which had been sitting off the coast since July 24th. Star Jennifer’s movements suggested that she was about to unload her cargo, making her the second vessel to enter China within a week under the new import tariff regime. The unloading follows the departure of Peak Pegasus from the same port after she discharged her cargo of 70,000 tonnes of US soybeans.
2006-built, Marshall Islands-flagged, 43,189 gt Star Jennifer (IMO 9354856) is owned by Star Trident XV LLC care of manager Starbulk SA of Athens, Greece. It is entered with Gard P&I (Bermuda) on behalf of Star Trident XV LLC.
