Independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker Miller has announced the appointment of Andrew Yarwood as a Senior Director in its marine team. Miller said that Yarwood would bring to the post extensive legal and insurance expertise, with a deep specialism in the Marine sector, in which he has worked for more than two decades.
Yarwood joins Miller from Gray Page Intelligence Services. Before this, he spent over a decade as a London market insurance lawyer, holding senior positions at international law firms in London. He began his career in the Marine sector as a Claims Manager at Britannia P&I Club.
Yarwood’s remit will be focused on Direct Marine, with responsibility for supporting business development and client outcomes across both London and international markets.
