A crew member of container ship Vayenga Maersk (IMO 9775751) needed to be medevaced when the vessel was in the North Sea during the early afternoon of June 12th while the ship was en route from St. Petersburg, Russia, to Rotterdam, Netherlands. The patient was hoisted by an SAR helicopter of the Danish civil guard and taken to the Aalborg hospital for treatment. The ship berthed at the Rotterdam APMT Maasvlakte II on July 14th, where it remained as of June 16th.

Oil products tanker Aldan (IMO 9258014) was ordered to be detained by the Maritime Captaincy of Almeria of the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine of Spain for an illicit discharge of hydrocarbons over an area of about 55 km2. The pollution was detected by an EMSA satellite and surveillance aircraft of Salvamento Marítimo. The ship was ordered to the port of Alméria on June 14, 2021, where it moored and remained as of June 16th.
2003-built, Liberia-flagged, 28,529 gt Aldan is owned by Baht Shipping Corp care of manager Muhit Maritime FZE of Dubai, UAE. It is entered with West of England (Claims Team Greece) on behalf of Baht Shipping Corp.
Divers carried out additional underwater surveys and found the bodies of the two persons following the capsizing of feeder container ship Nazmiye Ana (IMO 8516598) in the port of Castellón, Spain at the end of May. The bodies were recovered and transferred to the morgue for an autopsy. A crew incident statement was taken by harbour master and attending surveyors. The salvage plan has been prepared by the appointed salvage company and was under underway.
