The vessel had arrived from Ho Chi Minh port on May 26th to offload imported cargo. On May 28th it docked at Chittagong Bandar, where as of June 1st it remained.

Container ship Maersk Kyrenia (IMO 9211494) suffered an engine breakdown while en route from Istanbul to Mangalia on May 27th when it was about 20nm off Türkeli Feneri. The ship was disabled and asked for assistance. Coastal Safety deployed tug Nene Hatun which established a towing connection and towed the casualty to the Türkeli anchorage for repairs.

Cargo ship Chuang Xin 8 (MMSI 413593790) and dry cargo ship Yi Gang Wu Mao 20 (MMSI 413381360) collided at around 21:45 Beijing time on May 29th, south-east of Shanghai near Banyang Jiao Reef. The Chuang Xin 8 reportedly sank after the collision. One of the 20 crew on board went missing. As of June 1st the Yi Gang Wu Mao 20 was at the port of Majishan in the East China Sea.
Fire erupted in the cargo hold of general cargo ship Salar (IMO 8801125) at around noon UTC on May 31st at Landskrona port, Sweden. Some scrap that was being loaded was understood to have caught fire. The fire was expected to have been extinguished by 18:00.
