AIDA Cruises announced on September 23rd that the AIDAcosma (IMO 9781877) would not be finished as planned, and the inaugural cruise on December 22nd had to be cancelled. The schedule will be taken over by the AIDAnova (IMO 9781865).
The name of passenger/cruise ship Celestyal Experience (IMO 8821046) has been changed to Antares Experience. The ship remained stationary off Elefsina as of September 25th.
1993-built, 56,769 gt Celestyal Experience (Equasis record) is owned by Lander Shipping Inc care of manager Optimum management of Piraeus, Greece (Equasis details). It is entered with West of England (recorded as Antares Experience) on behalf of (the presumably latest) owner, which is Beacon Bay Shipping Services LLC, which is based in Dubai.
Offshore support vessel Nautical Geo (IMO 9223708) became engaged in what was described as a non-physical confrontation in contested waters with a Turkish frigate Orucreis. The latter issued a warning to the research vessel, telling it not to enter what Turkey considers its territorial waters. The Nautical Geo subsequently docked on September 22nd at Heraklion port, Greece.
Greece had issued a Navtex warning that the Nautical Geo would be operating off the eastern coast of Crete, which Turkey considers its waters and is covered by a bilateral maritime deal between Turkey and Libya, which no-one else recognizes.

Peru’s Health Authority detected a positive Covid-19 case of a crew member aboard MSC Lauren (IMO 9467407) in Callao, where the ship had arrived on September 18th. The container ship was quarantined for 15 days. The cargo for import remained on board until the mandatory quarantine was met. The ship dropped anchor in Callao Anchorage, where as of September 25th it remained.
