Maritime and commercial law firm Tatham & Co has added a senior Athens-based lawyer Ioanna Vitta to its team.
A qualified Greek and English lawyer, Vitta brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, specializing in dry shipping.
The move comes following the addition of Chris Farmer, a solicitor Master Mariner, who joined the team earlier in the year to increase the firm’s Admiralty capability.
Tatham said that bringing in an experienced lawyer based in Greece was the next step in consolidating its business in this area and in supporting its Mediterranean clients and the wider shipping industry.
Tatham noted that the Admiralty and Crisis Response team had been strengthened on the wet side by the arrival of Chris Farmer [from Inces] and would have another senior ex-Master Mariner solicitor joining in the New Year.
Tatham is led by founding partners Stephen Askins, Simon Tatham, and James Hickland.
