Law firm dropped by investors in OW Bunker case

Legal firm Bruun&Hjejle has reportedly been dropped by institutional investors as their legal representative in the case against OW Bunker because the firm previously performed tasks for the now-deputy head of OW Bunker, Jim Pedersen.

Bruun&Hjejle had been representing some 20 institutional investors in a DKK 837m ($139.4m) claim against the former management of OW Bunker.

On October 24th the Danish Advocate Board fined the managing director of Brusten&Hjejle, Karsten Kristoffersen, DKK10,000 for a violation of good law practice. Bruun&Hjejle continues to lead the part of the matters not related to the former senior management.
