Lloyd’s managing agent Antares, part of the QIC Group, has announced the appointment of John Taylor as Head of Specialty. He will report to the Active Underwriter, Joe Battle. Taylor replaces Kieran Oliver, who is retiring from Antares after what Antarest described as “a distinguished career”.
Taylor has more than 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry and joins from 12 years at CNA Hardy, where he was most recently Head of Specialty.
Prior to that, he was at Chubb for nine years, having begun his insurance career as a broker at Willis.
