India’s Mercantile Marine Department (MMD) has issued a new circular on the loading of iron ores fine (IOF) cargoes, reports North P&I. The Kolkata district of the MMD published the circular, which provides details on the approval procedure for loading IOF cargoes in the ports of Paradip, Dhamra, Haldia and Gopalpur. The circular lists the many documents required before permission to load is granted, and the documents required before sailing upon completion of loading.
