Ince Gibraltar appoints Anne Rose as Partner to set up Gibraltar shipping practice

Anne Rose has been named as a partner with legal firm Ince ahead of the establishment of a Shipping Practice in Gibraltar.

Rose will work alongside Dr Jan Hungar, Managing Partner of Ince Germany and a director of Ince Gibraltar, to head Ince Gibraltar´s shipping team and to develop Ince Gibraltar’s shipping services offer with Peter Howitt, Managing Partner of Ince Gibraltar.

Rose is an experienced lawyer who specializes in civil and commercial litigation with a focus on shipping and maritime law. She has extensive experience in handling shipping litigation including high-profile ship arrests. She joins Ince Gibraltar from Hassans where she has served as Partner since 2017. Outside of her practice, Anne teaches the Maritime Law module at the University of Gibraltar for the Professional Certificate of Competence in Gibraltar Law.

Dr Hungar has been with Ince for more than 15 years and advises on matters relating to the shipping industry, including commercial vessels, yachts, containers, port facilities, port and ship equipment, oil rigs and off-shore equipment.

The Ince Gibraltar unit has been operational since April 2019 when The Ince Group plc completed an acquisition of Rampart Corporate Advisors Ltd.
