Idle cruise ships being hired as migrant floating hotels

Passenger ship Jade (IMO 8529686) has become the fourth cruise boat to be rented by Maltese authorities to house migrants rescued in Maltese waters. A further 75 people were found by the Armed Forces of Malta during the night of May 27th. The Supreme Cruises ship joins three Captain Morgan ships currently floating 1nm outside of Maltese waters, housing some 425 migrants.
