UK-based international broker Howden has confirmed the appointment of Emma Carpenter as Head of Superyachts, London, initially announced in August.
Carpenter will lead Howden’s London Superyacht team and join its Global Superyacht Executive Committee, “helping to shape the continued development of its international proposition while supporting long-term succession planning”.
Carpenter joins Howden after more than six years at Aon, where she served as Global Head of Superyachts. Prior to that, she spent 12 years at WTW as a Superyacht Insurance Broker.
Daniel Whiteside, Managing Director – Global Practice Leader Marine, Cargo & Logistics at Howden, said in August that “Emma brings extensive leadership experience in the Superyacht sector and is currently Global Head of Superyachts at Aon, where she is completing her contractual obligations ahead of joining us in October”.
