Greek bulkers Alexandros Theo and Ephesus III collide

Greek bulk carriers Alexandros Theo and Ephesus III collided on outer Istanbul anchorage, Ahikapi road, on the evening of August 14, after passing the Bosphorus heading south. No spill has been reported and the vessels are thought to have suffered slight damage. Both vessels were anchored near the site of the collision. Alexandros Theo is en route from Varna, Bulgaria to Ghent, Belgium, while Ephesus III is en route from Tuapse, Russia to Alexandria, Egypt. Alexandros Theo is a bulk carrier built in 2000 and registered in the Marshall Islands. Ephesus III  is a general cargo vessel built in 2004, also registered in the Marshall Islands.
