Ferry service strike in Greece on May 1st

The Pan-Hellenic Seamen’s Federation (PNO) is participating in industrial action called by the General Confederation of Greek Labour (GSEE) and is scheduled to hold a 24-hour strike on May 1st to mark May Day. PNO said that it was protesting against unemployment and pension cuts. It is calling for new collective labour contracts with salary increases.
