The US Environmental Protection Agency I(EPA) has released a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) note on compliance issues in North America and the US Caribbean Sea.
Interested parties can read more about the Annexe VI compliance issues for a range of circumstances. The EPA note addresses Annex VI compliance issues for a range of circumstances, but is not meant to address every possible circumstance for the topics covered. Swedish Club said that vessel operators were encouraged to contact EPA or US Coast Guard before applying these responses for a particular set of circumstances.
