Philippines president Rodrigo Duterte has said that he will review the order of Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Regina Lopez to shut more than half the country’s ore mines and to cancel mining contracts. That decision had led to problems with the quality of the ore being loaded onto vessels, with an excess of liquid in some loadings leading to warnings from several P&I clubs to its members.
