Dutch tanker operators merge

Dutch chemical/oil tanker operator Clearwater Ship Management and Rotterdam-based 24Vision will combine their fleets on November 15th, 2016 trading under the Clearwater Ship Management name and focusing on “enhancing ship management services and expanding the fleet.”

Clearwater Ship Management will relocate to the headquarters of 24Vision in Waalhaven, Rotterdam.

Martijn Mobach of 24Vision will be managing director, while Clearwater group managing director Mark Breijer will continue to hold responsibility for Clearwater Group’s shipowning activities.

Clearwater operates seven coated chemical/oil tankers. It specialises in technical ship management, commercial management, ship investment, shipping and cargo risk consultancy, including legal advice, insurance, claims and recoveries, and bunkering.
