North of England Club has announced that Peter Fryer, a former General Manager of Newcastle P&I Club, passed away on Monday October 3rd, aged 88.
North noted that Peter Fryer led Newcastle P&I Club for many years and was very well known and respected within the International Group. He famously took “The Fanti” case to the House of Lords, successfully maintaining the “pay to be paid principle”.
