Gao Baoyu, chairman of China’s Ying Kou Port Group, has been sentenced to 14 years jail for accepting around CNY26.8m ($3.86m) in bribes, reported Xinhua news agency at the weekend. Gao Baoyu was also the party secretary of Ying Kou, and was said to have abused his position by accepting bribes for appointments since 2002.
