Darren Carr is joining Ark as head of a new, as yet unnamed, Marine Consortium at Lloyd’s. The book will initially be focused on Marine & Energy Liability. It will begin trading from January 1st 2024.
Carr had been head of marine & energy liability marine trades and logistics at Tokio Marine HCC International up to July this year, having been at Axis and Novae prior to that. He originally entered the underwriting side of the business in 2008 when he joined Hiscox after five and a half years at Aon.
