Carnival Corp ship begins Italian cruise through Costa Crociere

Cruise ship Costa Deliziosa (IMO 9398917) resumed cruising from Trieste on September 6th, the first Carnival Corp cruise ship to recommence operations after a global lockdown began in mid-March.

The ship has only Italian passengers and call only at Italian ports during its week-long cruise. The ship will call at Bari, Brindisi, Corigliano-Rossano, Siracusa and Catania with excursions to Lecce, Ostuni, Otranto, Alberobello, Gallipoli, Taormina, Noto, Modica, Ragusa and Sibari. It is the first of three such cruises.

2010-built, Italy-flagged, 92,720 gt Costa Deliziosa is owned and managed by Costa Crociere of Genoa, Italy. ISM manager is Carnival Maritime GmbH of Hamburg, Germany.
