Miami-based MGFA CargoCorp Underwriters, a coverholder at Lloyd’s, has named Sebastian Gomez cover holder to the newly created role of chief commercial officer a role he will assume alongside his existing responsibilities as director of the MGA’s Mexico office and which will give him added responsibility for the company’s bottom line.
Gomez joined CargoCorp UW in 2020 as an Underwriter. Previously he had spent nearly a decade at Marsh and then with Gallagher.
CargoCorp Underwriters is a reinsurer specializing in providing solutions for Latin America, but with a global reach.
