Bahamas bans unvaccinated cruise ship passengers aged 12 and over

The Bahamas said on August 20th that from September 3rd only ships with all passengers aged 12 and older who have been fully vaccinated will be able to visit the country’s ports, including private islands.

Various cruise lines have advised passengers that if they choose not to follow the prescribed procedures they can get a full refund. The Bahamian rules at the moment apply only to September and October cruises to the Bahamas. For guests who have a September cruise to the Bahamas booked and who do not want to be vaccinated, Royal Caribbean is offering the choice of a full refund or moving the dates of their cruise to a time when conditions may have changed.
