Andrew Dyer, currently a partner in the Greek office of law firm Hill Dickinson, will be joining the American Club Managers’ Piraeus office in early April in the role of corporate Vice President.
Dyer will be Regional Claims Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with coterminous responsibility as Global Claims Manager for the American Club’s Eagle Ocean Marine (EOM) business.
Dyer has been a solicitor for more than 25 years and a partner for 14 years.
Despina Beveratou, who has to date fulfilled Andrew’s forthcoming responsibilities concerning EOM in particular, will be relinquishing her role in the London office at the end of March to return to Greece.
American Club said that Beveratou was departing “with the best wishes of her colleagues in appreciation of her exemplary service over many years to both the Club and EOM, and the great energy and good humour she imparted to that service”.
Niki Tiga, based in the Managers’ Piraeus office, becomes the Club’s Correspondents’ Manager, a role previously undertaken by Beveratou. Tiga has been part of the Club’s management team for about 10 years, having started in the London office and having more recently moved to Greece.
