AIDA Cruises is to offer seven-day cruises from the Canary Islands, starting December 5th, when AIDAperla will begin the Canary Islands service.
AIDAmar will start its winter season with a Christmas voyage, beginning December 20th.
The Spanish government adopted clear regulations for safe travel in the Canaries in November, which AIDA said were are in line with its established hygiene and prevention measures. These include a free Covid-19 test before the voyage, secure arrival and departure, medical care, distance regulations and increased disinfection measures on board, as well as guided shore excursions.
AIDA has had to adjust the schedule in the Orient and the Western Mediterranean. All cruises on AIDAstella and AIDAprima that had been planned between December 1st and January 26th 2021 have been cancelled.
