Landing craft LCT Sumber Bahagia Jaya sank on the afternoon of November 2nd near Pulau Birahbirahan island, east Kalimantan, Indonesia. The vessel was en route from Malinau to Samarinda, carrying heavy equipment, when it was caught in rough weather. The equipment shifted to port, causing the vessel to develop a list, subsequently sinking. Nine of the crew were picked up from water but two went missing. The partially sunk vessel is now resting on bottom.
