Live fish carrier Fisktrans issued a distress signal early January 25th north of Bodo, Norway. The vessel suffered a steering failure in stormy weather conditions and drifted to shallow waters where she dropped anchor. Six crew were rescued by helicopter before the vessel sank stern-first.
