Following reports of domestic unrest in Haiti because of attempts to increase petrol prices, E&M International Consulting, correspondents to several P&I Clubs in the country, has said that the port of Haitian capital Port-Au-Prince was now open and operating, as well as the port of Cap Haitien to the north. It said however that Laffiteau remained shut.
The Correspondent continued to recommend that any members who called at Port-Au-Prince, Laffiteau or Cap Haitian should proceed with caution.
